Exclusivelovebou provides professional event planning services. This Return and Refund Policy outlines our policies regarding cancellations, refunds, and service modifications. Please read this policy carefully before engaging our services.

Nature of Our Services

Event planning services are customized, time-intensive professional services that begin immediately upon contract execution. Unlike physical products, services cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense. This policy explains how we handle service cancellations, modifications, and refund requests.

Cancellation Policy

Clients may cancel their event planning service agreement subject to the following terms:

Cancellation Timeframes

  • More than 60 days before event: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee
  • 30-60 days before event: 50% refund of remaining balance
  • 14-30 days before event: 25% refund of remaining balance
  • Less than 14 days before event: No refund available

Work Already Completed

Any work already completed, including consultations, planning documents, vendor coordination, and deposits paid to third-party vendors, is non-refundable. Refunds apply only to the remaining balance for uncompleted services.

Refund Process

To request a cancellation and refund:

  1. Submit a written cancellation request via email to help@exclusivelovebou.world or in writing to our office address
  2. Include your contract number, event date, and reason for cancellation
  3. We will review your request and calculate any applicable refund within 5 business days
  4. If approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10-15 business days

Non-Refundable Items

The following items and services are non-refundable:

  • Initial consultation fees (if separately charged)
  • Deposits paid to third-party vendors (venues, caterers, etc.)
  • Custom design work and planning documents already created
  • Administrative fees
  • Services already rendered or work completed

Service Modifications

We understand that event plans may need to change. Clients may request modifications to their service package:

  • Upgrades: Additional services can be added at any time, subject to availability and additional fees
  • Downgrades: Reducing services may result in partial refunds based on work already completed and cancellation terms
  • Date Changes: Event date changes are subject to vendor availability and may incur additional fees

All modification requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to our approval based on feasibility and vendor availability.

Force Majeure Events

In cases of force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, etc.) that prevent event execution:

  • We will work with clients to reschedule events when possible
  • If rescheduling is not possible, refunds will be calculated based on work completed and non-refundable vendor deposits
  • We will make reasonable efforts to recover vendor deposits, but cannot guarantee full recovery

Client Responsibilities

To ensure smooth service delivery and eligibility for refunds:

  • Provide accurate and timely information required for event planning
  • Make payments according to the agreed schedule
  • Respond to communications and requests for decisions in a timely manner
  • Notify us immediately of any changes or concerns

Dispute Resolution

If you are dissatisfied with our services or have concerns about billing, please contact us immediately. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly. Most concerns can be resolved through direct communication.

If we cannot resolve a dispute directly, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in California, United States.

Payment Methods and Refunds

We accept various payment methods including credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction. Processing times may vary by payment provider.
